The flashlight has the latest CREE XML2 U3 LED chip that will last up to 50,000 hours so there should never be the need. This chip is replaceable only by a professional.


Is it easy to turn on the Defensive Oscillating Strobe mode feature when under duress? How bright is it?

A simple quick double tap on the tail switch turns this mode on. Other flashlights take much longer and are more confusing. It is blinding bright and can easily disorient the person. The oscillation between 10HZ and 5HZ is much more effective than pure flashing strobes.
